Shepard is not 5'10" and I really don't think you understand how few guys run a legit 4.4.

How about he has good, not great n/s speed, but his lateral quickness is amazing.

Brooks is someone with great n/s speed with not great lateral movement

Devery was much faster than Shep, contributed in the return game, and had damn near twice Shep's career receiving yards in his senior year.

Also the fact that Yahoo Sports has now picked up on Shep's complaining you can pretty much count him out the draft.

Funny: LSU's quarterbacks, who weren't great, didn't seem to have any trouble finding Rueben Randle, who had 53 catches for 917 yards and eight touchdowns, or true freshman Odell Beckham Jr., who passed Shepard on the depth chart and finished with 41 catches for 475 yards and two scores.

I'm not claiming that Shep is an NFL prospect. However most fans didn't think Henderson had the hands or ability to make an NFL roster. Henderson did have a lot of yards but we had a different OC and a different QB. Fisher always said that Henderson had the ability if he would dedicate himself to his game. To his credit he did and made it big.
Hopefully Shep will make the best of his decision. I think he would be better transferring to a passing program and trying to improve his skills.

No, but years of coaching and determination will earn him a job one day.

Damn man.

I just think it's tough to call him a bust

He was a QB his freshman year, played on a team that didn't pass for most of his soph and jr campaigns...

We'll never know what he may have been in ideal circumstances
