I have read nothing but great reviews but at $700.00, I was wondering if someone on here owned it and could give a recommendation.

I bought one this year for my RV. It was crazy expesive, but after I set in my driveway, plugged it in and was watching saellite TV in 45 seconds, I forgot how much it cost.
The best thing since pockets. Worth EVERY penny.

If you tailgate in the same place each time, get a regular dish, put it on a tripod and just set it up.
If you establish at your site where you're going to put it, get the tilt and the elevation set and locked down, the only thing you have to set each time is the azimuth (left to right). Takes me about 30 seconds each time to set ours up.
I pull it out, open the legs, and just turn it left to right for a few seconds and poof, done. $20 on ebay or a pawn shop, free if you got a buddy with one extra.

chuck thanks for your reply, we tailgate same spot but last year for one game, it took us about 2 hours to get a signal, very frustrating and miss some of college gameday. wasnt too happy.

Np. I think the trick is to get it set up the first time and just tighten the nuts on the tilt and elevation. That leaves you with just making sure you set the tripod in the same place each time and just a back and forth sweep.
I've actually taken it out, set it up and plugged into the receiver and television and it was already on the signal. Helps to have a bunch of people around you with it as well. Look at theirs and point in the same direction.

How much is the service costs per month?

chuck i looked at the vuqube but that model is still not automatic. you put the elevation in the remote and then you still search for the signal. they do have the 2000 model which is about the same as the winegard. everything is automatic and it does the signal searching for itself.

its just whatever your monthly service is for dish network or directtv. nothing more. we are actually doing the dish network pay as you go. you basically can turn the account on whenever and turn it off whenever for no extra costs and fees.
