I grew up in Jefferson Parish in the 80s so I can relate to the hatred for Toolame. Their fans would gladly have accepted 1-10 seasons every yr if that 1 win would be over LSU. They wanted LSU to lose more than they wanted the Green Weenies to win. I remember reading a article in 1985 in the TImes-Picayune mentioning that the loudest eruptions from the crowd @ a Toolame FB game occurred whenever the P.A. announcer periodically announced the score of the Florida @ LSU game being played at the same time. LSU lost 20-0.
