You're not that slick Joe. You allowed the national media, recruits, former players, etc to bash this program and school because you were going to deliver the golden egg in the end. You weren't good enough to get it done. No one believes your bullshite.
You got played by Miles for the raise.
You got played by Sexton/Fisher.
Regardless if fans are happy or mad about Miles staying, Alleva must be fired for this.

Policy my arse. He was silent because he was trying to get the Fisher deal done and was too weak to make it happen. He should have done what other AD's do. You come out in support of Miles even while continuing to work your deals in the background. You cant just sit there and let the school get hammered nationally for two weeks straight. I've never seen anything like it to be honest.

He needs to go.
It's not because he hurt LSU's image...it's because he did real damage to the program. This staff is going to have a hard time recruiting...and his opportunity to keep key coaches on this staff should a change me made moving forward is probably gone. Plus, there is a chance that we may lose them already.
And, all of this was self inflicted.
He should be fired now.

Agree Alleva needs to be fired ASAP. Get a competent AD that can handle the football mess. The next couple of years will be just killing time until Miles goes away.

Y'all do realize if Alleva had said anything to quiet the media bullshite that Les Miles would be unemployed right now. It IS the policy and that policy save Les Miles's job!

He could have fired him, or just said we are keeping him. Anyway you slice it, its a huge frick up. Either they had no intention of firing him or LSU didn't get their guy.
