So how does this equate to miles not having a clue

race horses make more than you, are they smarter than you? someone making more income than another does not equate to genius, see ponzi schemes, duh

There's this thing called execution. Talent doesn't equal wins. Need coaching AND execution.

no, he has incentives in place like every other coach for making & winning the sec champ. game & bcs title game etc. he does not deserve more than what his contract calls for.

Not as of this year's final polls. #12 or 14, depending.

and trailing Bama, A&M, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina at seasons end. The loss to Clemson caused us to be passed up by two teams we beat. Miles not only screwed up the last two years final games, but now we are not even considered elite in the SEC. We are becoming what our coach is, Les.

Program, not individual team. It's fair to say that LSU over the past decade has been a top ten program and still is. It would take a couple of more years outside the top ten to change that.

wow, I think this single comment has effectively solidified the stupidity of the TR. I think I will stick to the recruiting board where intelligent, rational people post.

The only increase in pay he should be getting are performance based bonuses tied to SEC, NC's, 12 wins etc. He's done nothing to warrant just getting more money.

If LSU would loose it's defensive coordinator MIles is finished.

500 season at best

Defensive coordinator is who should get the pay raise and the head coaching job.

Your question should have been , in your opinion did miles deserve a raise? My opinion is yes , he won the sec last year an for the past 3 years has only 5 conference losses. If this is the best conference in college football an he has produced these results, then he is intitled to a raise.
