Do you think this is possible?

I know some of you will slam me for asking, but if we beat Bama, do you think it is possible for Auburn to pull off an upset against them? They are playing pretty good, and they have the Gumpers at home in the Iron Bowl.

That would be sweet for us!

Possible? Yes. Likely? No.

I wouldn't think so, but Malzahn can be pretty crafty so they should expect a few wrinkles. A lot of people are high on Auburn right now b/c of their win over ATM, but let's be honest - ATM's defense was crap. Alabama pretty much leads in every defensive SEC category.........again.

no no and no. whenever LSU needs help in the iron bowl, we never get it. doesn't matter what side thru the years. another reason to hate all teams from alabama.

True, and the only other team on their schedule to do that could possibly do that would be Georgia (if they didn't have all of the injured players), so that OM loss would bite us in the butt then.

Anything's possible. Where would we be without hope? However, highly improbable. IMO: BAMA wins out. SEC office will make this a certainty.

Yep ... too much money to be lost if the SEC doesn't have a representative in the BCSNCG.

I just hate where we are as a team right now. My family & I were out of town this past weekend & watched the game together. At the end when I was praying we would win, and we didn't, I said, "Oh, well let's look ahead to next year" and my son wanted to know why I was just blowing off the rest of the season. I had to explain that we play in the SEC.....blah, blah, blah...and honestly that's how I feel every year when we have a 2nd SEC loss (or 2 losses, period!) your shot at the Natty is pretty much blown to hell, because so freaking much has to happen, and let's face it that 2007 NCG opportunity will not roll around too often. Too much has to happen. Not impossible, but highly unlikely. Sorry, but I want LSU to get another crystal football, but it won't happen this year. Sorry for whining, but just how I feel. I'll get over this soon.

I know the feeling.. Still have a chance to finish strong and have a successful season though. If we can pull off the Bama upset and beat the aggies then I will feel ok about this season.

This. I don't see it happening though. A&M will put up stupid numbers against this defense, and no way Bama lets another one at home slip away. It is what it is. LSU just does not have the talent on defense this year.

I'd really like to fudge up Bama's season though......now if Oregon and Florida State could not go full retard and we COULD beat Bama somehow....keeping the gumps out would be nice.

I wonder why they didn't ensure LSU winning against Arkansas in 2007.

this. It took Saban's worst defeat ever in 2010 to still frick it up for LSU.

They have to play @ Tennessee. Tennessee has arguably the best OL in the SEC.

I think you would have a better chance of hooking up with Bill Clinton. But here's to hoping

Just resign yourself to the fact that we are going to the gheytor bowl or touching cotton bowl. A BCS bowl is out of the question now.

Auburn still has UT, UGA (w/Gurley) on their schedule.

Still have to go to Arkansas too. Arkansas isn't having a great year or anything, but I could see Auburn taking that one too lightly and getting upset by the pigs.
