Trindon Holliday would have been the GOAT outfielder

With his small strike zone he would walk half the time. Think of him stealing bases.

What a missed opportunity. fricking Miles

Sounds like an absolutely terrible coach.

I could understand a huge awareness deficiency running the bases, but reading the pitchers? That's just a lack of coaching.

Sure if you could pinch run everyone for Jackson he would be great except for the fact that you have to then replace that player. May have issues once he has to actually field a ball or go up to bat. Your mind may change once you realize he can't actually field a ball or hit, don't ya think?

This may be dumber than the OP
Take it you didn't play baseball at any level?

ETA: Papierski was used with a little sarcasm, but if Freeman could still 8/10 bases, I'd be willing to bet that Donte could only do 6/10.

It was the Papierski part that didn't make any sense. I agree that Freeman would be a more effective base stealer due to having a better understanding of how to read the pitcher, knowing what pitch is coming, etc. I don't think it would take that long to figure out, however.

Do we have any black guys on the team this year? I don't recall having one recently.
