Do you start Money if the wind is blowing in again tomorrow?

His Achilles heel is the long ball. His strength is throwing strikes. Big park, wind blowing in seems like it would set up best for him.

If Wake really does struggle against lefties (I don't know if this is a fact or not) then I'd throw Coleman and Herring.

Money is the right call if the wind is blowing in again.

.315 against righties.

Not that this isn’t a worthy topic to talk about amongst ourselves, but Leah said that Jay didn’t text Ack that he was starting until 9 this morning. Him and Wes are gonna be up all night pouring over scouting reports, watching film, weather reports, any piece of data they can consume before making that decision. Could be Money. Could be Coleman. Could be anybody. It’s likely to be a lefty (I actually think they go with Herring) because we have more of them. But it won’t be based solely on Wake having a slightly better batting average against righties than lefties.

I LOVE Jay and think he’s a great coach who will win multiple titles here, but even great ones mess up sometimes. His handling of the 6th inning yesterday killed us. Leaving Floyd out there through 3 walks with no outs killed all of our momentum and we were lucky to come out of the inning tied.

Jay is nowhere near Paul with the slow hook on pitchers, but he does stick a little too long sometimes.

He’s really built more to close or get you out of a jam in the later innings, but he’s definitely going to have to pitch some over the next two (hopefully) days.

We didn’t have three walks… we had a strikeout that, for whatever reason, the ump wanted to send the runner to first on. Can’t blame Jay for that one bit

If we have any chance tomorrow, it has to be a strike thrower. Wake's biggest power hitters are righties which is why I like Money better. Coleman has decent control but excessive walks tomorrow will end out season.

I think he goes with Herring. He had a rough patch towards the end of the season, but he has that dawg in him somewhere and is the most likely to do something like Ack did tonight imo.

We’re gonna need Money eventually. And he may get the pill tomorrow. But just because the wind may be blowing in doesn’t mean all those home runs just automatically turn into pop ups. That’s a big arse park. Which also means tons of room in the outfield for doubles if they’re barreling him up.

Everyone does, sometimes a gamble pays off… like letting Ack go 6+ tonight. It wasn’t like he completely avoided baserunners.

So far in these 2 games I haven’t seen much from this amazing Woke Forest offense. They better hope they finish us game 1 cause they aren’t hitting Skenes if they can’t hit Floyd.
