a 8-5, 12-0 with NC title, and 3-9 seasons with Gene Chizik?

Usually a 10-2 season doesn't win you a NC ring.

I take Coach Miles any day, bc he's consistent as a coach and a recruiter.

the recruiting and motivational tools he has without a doubt, his offensive schemes and game awareness is too shaky for comfort

1 national title every 3 years is what I would take. But that's not what you get with any coach outside of douche from Bama. Ill take Miles

Are you asking if we would accept a hypothetical of LSU being worse than they have been? Because they went 12-0 last year.

When you have the best talent in the nation, a 10-2 schedule and a non-bcs bowl birth is pretty disappointing.

For some reasons, I felt like we had a 10-2 season last season.

I want us to play hard, play aggressively, develop players, and be FIGHTING Tigers, not PASSIVE Tigers, then let the record end up where it ends.

Hasn't Miles been to two national title games? He does a little more than go 10-2 every year.

And for what it's worth we DON'T have the best talent in the nation if you watch any college football outside of the the state. About 10 teams minimum recruit as well as we do year in and year out and haven't had the sustained success that Miles has had.

No team outside of the SEC has beaten a Les Miles coached LSU team. This is the trump card of all trump cards.

Did we forget that some years it takes a lucky bounce here and there to win a NC?

if that onside kick had bounced one yard more down the field, we'd probably be playing a semifinal this week.

love how people forget that. going 14-0 is hard, especially in the SEC. No one did it this year. 6 really good teams, all logjammed with 1 and 2 losses. not enough luck for LSU this season.

You deem Joe Pa's win a nullity?

It's not a win for Joe Pa. The way i worded it.

Also the BCS game last year, Alabama is inside the SEC aren't they.

Technically speaking, yes.

I like knowing that every season there's not a team in the country I think LSU would without a doubt lose to.

That consistency of always putting out a competitive team that can beat anybody on any given day is better than being absolutely terrible a couple years then catching lightning in a bottle one season for a NC run.

I would hate for people to look at LSU as say "they have absolutely no chance of winning this game" like people look at Auburn this year or countless other teams that just aren't good enough to play with the top dogs.

LSU is not the most talented team in the nation. They're up there but there are schools just as talented if not more.
