Not even close to 90%. There are some load assholes that do but that is not the opinion of most. No different for La Tech. The La Tech fans that hate LSU are generally from Shreveport. The vast majority of La Tech students are LSU fans.

You're just mad because I still have that awesome "Dallas Cowboy's Haters Handbook" I bought in the early 80s. Who could hate the Saints in the 70s? That was like hating roadkill.

Back on topic, I've seen several people talk about North Louisiana hating LSU, which is the furthest thing from the truth. Yes, we do have some Techster LSU haters, but other than that this part of the state is all purple and gold. The proof is in where our best players go.

If you choose, for whatever reason, to attend a school that is a heated rival of the school you pulled for growing up (yeah, I know SEC Board Bama fans, we're not really "rivals" ), then tough shite, you now have to start pulling for the school you are attending and from which you are hopefully obtaining your degree (especially undergrad) over the team you pulled for growing up.

I could not disagree more. This mentality is exactly why LSU fans who attend USL get treated like shite when they wear their LSU gear on the USL campus. Loyalty to a university is a matter of personal choice, and just because you don't wind up attending the university you love is no reason to abandon your loyalty to it. Tulane or Ole Miss could award me 100 degrees and I still wouldn't pull for them over LSU.

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner.

Fridays when ULL had a home game and I was sporting my purple and gold on campus were the worst. Tulane wasn't nearly as bad as ULL. They were definitely more reserved with their displeasure of my purple and gold.

Just because I went to universities other than LSU does not mean than my lifelong passion for LSU football has to end, and if LSU, Tulane, and ULL are all on TV, guess which two teams don't get watched.

ULL and I'm sure their are still a lot people that jumped on the Bama bandwagon a long time ago that are still on it in La.
