It's people at Blatts right now in Omaha. They say "LSU should be getting ready for tomorrow nights game"

My response is "dude, they are 19-22 year olds at the college World Series, let them have fun."

They need to stop playing so uptight, loosening up a bit and have fun. Get those bats rolling and we will be playing for a while....

My first thought was that they need to be earning their scholarships. Then I remember reading this recently:
quote:

11.7 is the maximum number of scholarships that NCAA Division 1 baseball teams can give to its players. That's not per year, that's per team for all players. Most D1 teams carry more pitchers than the number of scholarships they can award. To make the money go further, many coaches award partial scholarships.

11.7 Reality Check: College Baseball Scholarships

This means that most college baseball players are not on full scholarship.

They're in the damn motel room.

It's not like they're out cruising the bars or the strip joints.

They look to be in their hotel room sober. What's the problem?

Can't be. He's as tall as Poche in that pic and Reid is only like 5'9". Poche is 6' or so.

U might be right - however, sure looks like him - seen him play at St. Mike's - I though he was more like 6 - I believe Poche' is around 6'2" - read the replies to the face book quotes - it might be Gibbs.
