You bring up the Bama game ... and then conveniently leave out that we should have lost the game to the powerhouse that was Florida if not for their WR/TE (don't remember) absolutely dropping an easy TD in the end zone very late in the game.

It's really amazing how dumb you are. You can't even comprehend what you read and it was a very simple comment. I wasn't talking about the Bama game to say we were better than an 8-4 team. We weren't. I simply said most people said our ceiling if everything went perfect would have been 9-3 but probable expectation was around 8-4. Had everything gone perfectly this year, yes we could have gone 9-3 or 10-2, but it didn't. We were 8-4. So anyone that predicted 8-4 with a ceiling of 9-3 was dead on. That isn't a hard concept to understand.

I should really try to be more understanding of how low some posters' intelligence is when I post.

You know damn well there were pumpers on here predicting 10-2 / 11-1.

I didn't see many, if any, predictions of this team going 11-1 with what we were going to lose on offense.

People are not pissed that we went 8-4 ... people are pissed at HOW we went 8-4.
You mean that we went 8-4 with an incredibly pedestrian offense which was, by far and away, EVERYONE'S biggest concern coming into the season since we lost 4 of the better offensive players in the history of LSU football? Got it.

Revisionist history, right there.

Some may have said 8-4 and got called negatigers... but, I assure you, a shitload of people predicted better to way-better than that.
There was at least 20% that were predicting a NC, but they do that same stupid shite every year.

Without a legitimate QB and at least a semi-competent passing game, I have zero hope that LSU will compete for anything relevant in 2015.
And then 2011 happened...

Love how differing opinions means you're right or wrong. And yes when you barely beat teams that don't recruit in the top 25 when your perennial top 5 that is either being out coached or being unsuccessful at talent evaluation, which is another way of being out coached.

1. We aren't a perennial top 5 recruiting class.
2. 5 of the 7 SEC West teams ranked in the TOP 20 last year in recruiting. So you are just making shite up by saying we barely beat teams that don't recruit top 25.
3. It is you're, not your.

unsuccessful at talent evaluation

If that's the case, everyone didn't evaluate their talent too well, not just LSU.

which is another way of being out coached

No it isn't.

I didn't start this to be another negative post. I started this to question what will the future hold. Did people think qbs would develop, would we continue to be successful on defense with the future hire, etc. People just have to be hardasses and dicks on here to make it through their day. Have you ever disagreed with anyone without having an argument? It's extremely possible and makes better conversation.

In the last 5 years we average 6.4 in recruiting ranking I apologize for being 1.4 off... And yes other staffs doing a better job of talent evaluation and/or player development is an example of being coaching / being out coached. You don't think Miss St and Arkansas out coached us this year? Look at the talent comparison on those rosters. Then the talent evaluation and player development comes into play as well.

No one knows that future holds.

My hope is that all of our young players make marked improvements for the 2015 season. If that happens, we'll win more than 4 SEC games.

Of course the qb position needs a lot of improvement. I do not expect that to happen but any improvement at that position will help LSU win more games.

LSU needs to improve the passing game and that starts at qb but does not end there. Our receivers need to run their routes better and catch what is thrown in their hands.

He probably has not because P&G86 is clearly a pompous dickhead who begins almost every post not with "I disagree" but with some sort of pointless insult against another poster's intelligence...which probably makes him feel better about himself.

He's the kind of douche who uses a numbered bullet point to punk out someone's grammar.

Lol with the number 86 he could be either a football player in high school but since he is constantly posting during school hours I would just figure he is a 28 year old douche
