Unless someone filmed them just playing pitch and catch, no.

He’s got to earn it on the field. If he does, then the panties come off.

He's got a lot to learn in less than 3 months total.
As he gradually learns we ought to see prgression over the season..

He shouldn't have much more to learn than the other 3 guys. They had a spring with a skeleton offense ahead of them. Thats it. I doubt if even all the terminology was introduced by then. It's a brand new offense no one has much of a head start over anyone else

Just a gut feeling but I think Joe is going to kill it from day one. Also, looking forward to Giles, Chase, Davis...

He has performed well in school work. His dad is a coach. He should pick things up pretty quickly.

He’s been learning under Coach Urban Meyer which means he’s had by far better coaching than anybody on our team.

I have zero concern with Joe picking up the offense.

This is the calm before the storm.

Agreed. No reason whatsoever for any QB to not have the offense down for the first game. Teams have new OCs every year and the good teams come out with the offense looking fine. There's no reason this team shouldn't look ready to go in game 1.

And if we don't, what's the plan? Anyone that comes in from an Urban Meyer coached program for a couple years AND graduated college way early should be able to handle whatever CSE could put into place in less than a year.

I have no clue what the plan is if the offense doesn't come out looking good in game 1. I'm not in the meeting rooms nor am I getting paid $3.5M to figure it out.
