All we've seen on the rant for the past 4 weeks is "fire miles- get Jimbo, Gruden, whoever!", yet the stadium feeling was "we love Les, keep Les, LSU is better with Les". Just saying- it seems like the ones bitching don't actually attend games or at least your preferences were not voiced at the game. Thanks for hiding behind your keyboards in your self-proclaimed man cave

Everyone also thought it was his last game.

The opinions of the season ticket holders should rule. I wish that there was a failsafe method to identify them around here. We should give much respect to the opinions of the stakeholders.

That was all just done in the heat of the moment because we thought he was gone. Nobody thought he was coming back.

Message boards are not a good way to judge a fanbase.

They weren't cheering to keep les

They were cheering what he has done and thanking him. At least that's how I viewed the majority of the response

There was a thread about this earlier, and most felt that you comments were inaccurate. The feeling for Les seemed to be more of a "thanks for the memories", but not necessarily the "keep Les" vibe.

No it wasn't. People were sending him off in style. Not one person I spoke to wanted to retain Les.

I said he needed another year for this Sophomore class to show what they can do next year but 99% of people I spoke with wanted him out.

No they don't. They sit here and complain and critique and really don't spend much on merchandise. But still feel LSU owes them something.

I have season tickets that have been in my family for over 50 years and go to as many games as possible. I can assure you everyone in the stadium is not pro-Miles (as a coach) and what went on Saturday was appreciation shown for a decent man and not necessary a vote of confidence.

I was there this past Saturday night and I agree 100% with this assessment.

Except not everyone was cheering cause they thought he was gone. Saw many signs saying to keep him etc. Even when fans were asked on the broadcast most said to keep him

You're right. Cell phones dont exist for people to post their thoughts.

Was Saturday was kind of the reverse version of when the fans boo the players. "But, we really tryin ta boooo da coaches, bruh."
