Do baseball records differentiate between starter/closer in scoreless IP?

Todd Helton has the record at 47 scoreless IP in College Baseball as a closer for Tennessee.

Poche sitting at 29 to start the season.

Starting pitching scoreless streak >>> Closer scoreless streak

I think consecutive scoreless innings are consecutive scoreless innings.

Any way you look at it, it's impressive.

I'd be inclined to argue the opposite, since closers typically pitch 1-2 innings max, 47 innings would have been basically the whole season not giving up a run. Also, closers are typically only brought in in high pressure situations. Either way, it's very impressive.

Closers almost always only face 3 or 6 batters per game then they're done. Hitters gain a huge advantage against starting pitchers the second time around the lineup when they know what to expect, it's a lot more impressive for a starter to have a long scoreless streak than a closer- especially a guy who's going deep into games and seeing the lineup 3 times in 9 innings like Poche. The fact that guys can't figure him out after seeing him in 3 separate AB's means that he's doing an impressive variety of things very well

That is a helluva streak. Do you also keep up with all of Trump's streaks?
