Seems to me he is getting better and better GO DJ
Also, Schimpf hits a 2 run homer in the bottom of eighth to tie up game Then hits 3 run walk off homer to win game in bottom of 10th.

DJ's numbers are amazing. Two years ago I would have thought him wildly successful if he could hit .280 at the MLB level.
Good for him. Still think he should have been the 2009 CWS MVP.

Actually he's #2 in the national league (and only by .001).
He's 3rd in the mlb.

Several years ago, the wife and I went to Coors field to see DJ play. At one of the Coaches Committee meetings the next LSU season, I was telling CPM about going to see DJ and W/all my LSU clothes on was interviewed by TV station. I told the TV guy that DJ should have won the MVP of the 2009 CWS. CPM told me that the MVP trophy was delivered to his office. He then called J Mitchell and told him, "your MVP trophy is in my office but I have cut it in half and gave DJ the other half". I think this is great story.

He won't win the MLB title, but can win the NL which is a huge accomplishment and get him some extra $&$$ if he has a good agent.

He got screwed on his contract...much better player than his contract
