We are 7-5 having played one of the softer OOC schedules among SEC schools. Can't spin it any way but disappointing and frustrating.

Lot's of ball yet to play but little to give us hope from what we've seen to this point.

Minimum it would take would be 13-5 if we beat OU and 14-4 if not and even then might take a win or two in SEC Tourney. And who could think we could accomplish that give what we've seen to this point.

One of the things we heard from UNT folks was CJJ got his team to play their best in the conference tourney. We have not seen that from him here, so hopes of winning the tourney to get in seem to be wishful thinking as well.

I wish I could be optimistic about a turnaround, but the lack of coaching has been evident since day one with JJ.

I think the apologists are running out of reasonable explanations.

I would love for them to be able to come back and call us out, cause that would mean LSU was winning. I'd gladly eat crow and would love to say how wrong I was.

I'd love at the end of the year for the Advocate to go talk to Dale and Collis after a great run (and you know they will) and hear them say, "I told you so" and Dale to say "I told Johnny to hang some miseltoe from his belt and tell everyone to kiss it" after we get it together and start kicking tail.

But they gotta give me a reason for hope and I've seen nothing outside a couple of good halves against mediocre teams to make me think it's plausible.

I see you are a Cubs fan Perfect. So am I, since 1973, same amount of time I've been an LSU fan of all sports.

The two most frustrating and unfulfilling parts of my life are the Cubs and LSU basketball. I love both with a passion and they always break my heart.
