I really think LSU plays up for Bama. Bama has a target and LSU plays with a chip. But look at all the rest of their games, how Bama rolls through everyone else. And LSU...doesn't.

But they don't roll through everyone else:
'09 - they had numerous close games
'10 - they lost 3 games
'11 - we beat 'em
'12 - they had one challenging stretch and they barely beat us and they lose the following week (and they barely beat UGA in the SECCG)
'13 - they've played what one ranked team so far (A&M) and they didn't roll them.

I agree we tend to play down to the competition - result of Les's "secure victory" first approach vs "excellence and dominance."

Saban dominates a team. He puts the foot on the throttle . Les just seems to coast it in.

I'm rooting for Bama to win another NC. I'm hoping for the "rising tide lifts all ships" approach.

This is a bunch of crap. We are not so bad. Mett had a bad night and our defense is young. I though they played really hard last night though. There are a lot of good teams out there. We are not assured a win because we are LSU and they are Ole Miss. Comparing everything to Bama is a joke. There buying the shite out these players. That's exactly why they are better at everything as some claim. Even though the record and games against each other tell a different story.

They have a giant machine of boosters, agents, high school programs/ coaches all on the hands off payroll. These recruits aren't just jumping ship and leaving their home state because they worship Saban. Seniors aren't holding out from the nfl for one last year because Saban is immortal. The schedules year after year isn't accidentally slanted in Bama's favor. It's no accident they have the least amount penalties ever. Oh wait...it's because Saban is a god. Bull shite!

The rematch should have never happened and would've never happened if it wasn't Bama. It's a huge pile of shite and it stinks. Please direct your anger at that shite before getting down on our program. Burn them or we need to start our payroll. We can't keep pace with this level of corruption.

Saban could take our players and make them historically great in my opinion. Miles could take Bama's players and lose on a ball spike with 1 second left. BTW, that has to be the worst play in the history of all sports.

Sig worthy.

But Alleva said that is not the goal. Being in the Hunt is the goal, not winning them. Am I the only one who had a HUGE problem with this statement when he said it??

And that is the biggest difference between us an Bama. Bama is about WINNING championships and LSU is about being "in the hunt". The difference is that one is about winning and the other is about making money first and winning is optional. That is the truth.

saban doesn't bow to public pressure.. If he wins by running it 40 times and solid defense that is what he does.....Les listened to his critics about not airing it out against Fla. He gave cam and mett free reign and this is what we got,..

LSU was a top 15 program. After Furman, I doubt it will be again.

You actually think we will lose to Furman? We could start our walkons and beat them by four touchdowns.

I thought the argument all last year was Les Miles shouldn't try to keep Control of the offense. I think the complaint was..... As long as Miles is here he will never release control of the offense. Now he does release control and he's wrong too.
