I was 8. Cried after the game. Hid under the sheets on my grandmas bed so nobody would see.

80% of posters here are Lsu fans since 2000 and Saints fans since 2006. Tiger Stadium rocked when it was 78,000 back in the day. And yes the Tigers played a home and home v OSU. Shite, I remember we had #1 FSU beat in the monsoon in 1992 and the stadium was full in the 4th. Now, it's a glorified Jesuit/Rummel saturday in Tad Gormley at halftime.

yup....... And LSU also played BOTH OSU and Miami fla. in 1988.. Heaven forbid if we try that again........

I have often said the worst thing to happen to the LSU fanbase was winning it all in 2003..........

Will forever this, was so upset with giving up a 16 point lead with so little time left that I literally was physically ill.

Tom Tupa to Bobby Olive. FKIN Tom Tupa. A punter. We lost to a punter. Complete melt/choke job. Even worse than the choke tie a yr earlier. F*CK Earl Bruce and his fedora. F*CK Spielman and the Buckeyes.

I was at the FSU monsoon when the water was flowing down the steps in the north end zone. Stayed til the bitter end. Also watched Miami beat us down when the rain was blowing sideways. Would love to see those teams come back to Baton Rouge.

I remember that like it was last week...to say it was a monsoon is not an exaggeration at all...

I wish we played schedules like that, instead of teams like Eastern Michigan.

I was at that game in the horseshoe, having a great time with LSU buddies and thought the game was wrapped up until the dreaded 4th quarter. What a crappy ride back to Maryland that night.

I guess we will never see home and home schedules like that again.. Thats too bad, it seems if Lsu does get the name school, its played in dallas or houston with tv revenue.. It Sucks...............

My wife and I drove to that game from ATL. About half the Buckeye fans left before their last minute comeback to win.

We played three straight away games that year...@Tennessee(W), @Ohio State(L), and @Florida(L). But we were SEC champions that year. Won that in Starkville in late November.

I work with a guy from Cleveland and he was at the game. He is a huge Tiger fan and he was with his Great Uncle who play for the Tigers in 1936.
