Don't worry. LSU wasn't "duped" on this one like some may make it seem. LSU had a pretty good idea what was going to happen with McKnight. I think the only people who were fooled were the fans who were gullable enough to believe that ESPN would create this dog and pony show on NSD for a guy that wasn't going to USC, ND, Texas, Florida, or Miami. Don't forget, the year before, LSU landed KW, CS, and RM.
We also got TT, the #1 WR, along with Chad Jones, the #1 rated safety that day (same day as McKnight). Remember the coverage they got when they announced? Exactly.

Those kids get a free ride, tutors that allow them to complete their education, that many would not be able to otherwise, treated like Gods, doing what they love to do, and having a shot a millions in the NFL. Ya, I really feel bad for them.
