Keeping Darrin Populist over Zach Kinsley...last three games for Zach..28 pts, 33 pts and tonight 29 pts...btw in K C Ross Miller's second game he had eight points for UNO

i think it was his decision to leave on his own for more playing time. I think his brother is at UNO as well

Gotcha...thanks...just makes you think if he would have helped the team at all this year with Miller not eligible and Spencer kicked off the team!

Isn't Kinsley on scholarship for them this season? He wasn't even on campus to take part in walk-on tryouts this year.

His brother does and I'm sure Zach wanted to play with him but right after the season TJ told Kinsley he would have to try out again with the walkons while Populist didn't have to. Seems stupid to me since Kinsley was better.

So the question is answered. TJ kept the wrong walk-on. Zach should have been welcomed back.

UNO cannot give scholarships in transition to D-3. Zach Kinsley had this vicious one-handed dunk with an And1 tonight. The kid clearly would help LSU right now.

Why is Ross Miller at UNO? I thought he was ineligible and would be at LSU next semester

Zack was a good guy but I don't think he's a whole hell of a lot better than Matt Derenbecker.

He may not be a "whole" lot better, but he is better. Derenbecker doesn't look like he belongs on the floor when he is out there. At least Kinsley looked the part last year.

That's not even true. Kinsley left on his own. It's been documented every year that walk-on tryouts are held yearly. TJ stated in an interview that Pop was selected pretty quickly this year in tryouts, but still, must go through the process.
