Did Saban pass over Fisher for a spot on Miami's staff?

I recall the relief when Jimbo stayed on Miles' staff, but thought there were limited options presented by Saban to Jimbo in Miami. Maybe part of the attraction to coaching at LSU is an opportunity for payback on the slight.

Does anyone recall what position job, if any, Jimbo was offered on the Dolphins staff?

He gave Derek Dooley a job so I'm sure jimbo had options.

Jimbo wants to play Saban every year. That is an attraction of the LSU job to him. Not sure why but he has an axe to grind.

Honestly. Why wouldn't any competitor? In the words of Ric Flair. To be the best. You gotta beat the best.
