first, they take Kevin Steele
now, we take Dameyune Craig
#frickAuburn
if only we could somehow take credit for destroying their bandwagon Cambase after the Super Bowl

I know from history on here that it seems you hate auburn more than any other sec team
What are your thoughts on lsu's ridiculously great offseason and this resurgence by Les Miles?

'05-'10 student here.
Loss that stings me the most to this day is the '06 7-3 at auburn. I was there and sat first row along the wall. Melted hard after that.
That loss stings me more than the bcs Bama loss and I'm dead serious

ah 2006, back before there was one team for the SEC to rig the conference for and they had to do it based on preseason projections

Steele was somewhat foreseeable after Muschamp jumped ship but I'm completely stunned we somehow pulled Craig away from his alma mater
Does this make Houston Nutt a more sympathetic figure given he's now on a pretty lengthy list of people who could not stand Malzahn? The official narrative of those days was that a doofus was handcuffing an offensive mastermind

Some of them are saying that sure, but they were also melting en masse before anything had even been announced
This is the equivalent of Raymond actually taking the UF job

Beefense5 - I have never been a Miles supporter (ie Sunshine pumper) but am more than pleased with this offseason. It looks as though Miles has woke up, smelled the roses, and finally gotten serious about making much needed changes and adjustments. If it continues into the season with the same level of enthusiasm and preparation, I'll be a Pumper with the best of 'em. Maybe the B/S from last season will have a positive outcome after all.

If they told me tomorrow Craig's was OC, I'd really be excited.

I too hate auburn. Florida in their prime or bama now don't come close and it all goes back to the early-mid 2000s

CLM has made great hires. Makes one wonder how he convincing these 3 quality coaches to come to a SEC school where the HC is theoretically on the hot seat big time next year.
