He mentioned something about Harris. Anyone remember exactly what he said?

Said they'll have schemes for both Harris and Etling and no, we're not changing the overall scheme

I think it'd be smart to let Harris run some zone read or goaline stuff once a half or so. Gotta make sure you keep him focused--he's one play away from being the starter again. Can't afford to lose him mentally.

Every team's backup is one play away from being the starter. Why does LSU have to put in their back up for a few plays to keep him focused?

They don't "have to." But his wheels do add a dimension. And very few other teams' backups were starters for 15 or so games. Seems pretty reasonable that's he's pretty down on himself. Need to pick him up.

He said this Monday. This isn't news. He plans on another lovely 2-QB system.

Zone read where Harris never reads the crashing DE and keeps the ball for a nice gain?

So Etling can't run the zone read? Or that's right, he is white, I forgot white guys can't run. My apologies to the rant.

Etling, in his limited PT so far, has shown more running ability this year than Harris has.

I'm guessing our opponents coaches may smell the read option if BH comes in. Predictabilty is our most consistent trait

Les is making this program look like a joke. It will crush recruiting efforts.

Are you fricking serious, do you even have a clue how bad Harris has been? Let me help you read the stats here!!!

LINK

It is real simple if Harris comes back in as the starter then people in Hell have a better chance of getting ice water everyday then LSU's chance are of winning an SEC west title with Harris under center. I don't mean the kid any ill will and I want him to succeed because I feel that LSU has wasted the skill set he has, but he is done at LSU if we truly want to be a threat in the SEC west. Harris getting benched was overdue and unless a miracle happens, Les Miles changing his offense to fit the skill set of Harris or Harris wakes up one morning and he is a pocket passer and personally we all know neither one of those will happen, then a new QB era at LSU has to begin.

No Miles you made the move then stick to it, give DE the entire game against Moo State because we already have seen very clearly what Harris can and can't do and we need what he can't do to win ball games!!!
