Did/does Mainieri have past LSU players (champions) come and speak to and...

therefore motivate his teams?
Just curious...
For one, Louis Coleman pitches for the AAA Omaha team. I would think that he would have been a perfect speaker to a team that just got trounced in their opener to TCU.
Just a small amout of motivation, especially from a champion, goes a very long way.

What exactly could Louis have added to the situation? What great words of wisdom could he have imparted? And it seems like the team rebounded pretty well and won the next game without his speech, right?

seriously?
sure, every player is different and therefore reacts differently. But, for the most part, having the opportunity to hear from a LSU legend before the pinnacle of your career sounds pretty exciting to me.

Idk, I would think that that a LSU legend and champion would have a few words of wisdom of what to expect and what to demand from your teamates.
