I don't like Steve. I do think he runs a clean program. I just think he's very childish.

I don't think he particularly has some dislike for us above other schools. He ran the score up on every body in the 90's.

The call itself appeared borderline. Steve did just what he should've done as a HC - it probably got him a PF penalty (on Loston) a few plays later.

But I think our fans are confusing the dislike for an opponent's coach vs how our players HAVE TO LEARN TO CONDUCT THEMSELVES ON THE FIELD. If Bennie said something insulting to Spurrier (then I'm smiling and laughing on the inside) but he simply doesn't need to do that on the field.

If so,that is very disrespectful to a guy who's done way more for this sport than he probably ever will.

This. In Spurrier's defense, the hit was late and could have easily pulled a flag.

Nothing of the sort happened GFY.

This. Spurrier might be the coach we all love to "hate"- but IF the kid did this he was wrong. Like him or not.

Yes but about time someone showed emotion. I have done and said plenty during the heat of battle that I would never apologize for. Grow a pair.

Man, you're either really young or really stupid.

Does it matter? If you defend Spurrier after an accurate description then you are really dumb and vaginal.

I just saw the play on the espnu replay and it really looks like spurrier was fussing at the ref and logan just happened to be near his line of sight but you can see he is looking at the ref not logan.

I know for a fact that Spurrier was cussing the ref about the late hit and Shaw's hurt shoulder and Bennie told Spurrier that's no way to act or talk coach. Not sure what Spurrier said back.
