I'm as glad as anyone that we won....and I love Les, but we cannot be in this type of situation. Think about the following:

Coming out of HS, Devon Bell (State kicker who missed) was #24 ranked kicker in country.... Ranked Top 5 long ball kicker. Stronger on KO but solid long FG kicker.

In other words, we really coulda lost that game last night.

I believe they showed his stats on 40 yd + attempts and he was below 50%.

He also hadn't attempted a FG in over a year. I was worried, but figured if someone had to take it, I was glad it was him.

I think we would've lost if Dak and Dan-o wouldn't have royaly fricked up and got a delay penalty.

That kick wasn't going to go in from 47 yards and it damn sure wasn't going to go in from 52 yards. He could have had 10 attempts and none were going in.

Oh no doubt the kid is in a slump. Just scares me because he does have the leg for that kick and we had no control at end of game.
