An ex nfl player I know told me he laughs when nfl guys retire and have a retirement ceremony. He says you never choose to retire from the nfl teams just decide to quit paying you and you are done.
If Devery is near the end, he had a great career. Better then I thought he would have even though I loved him at lsu. He has done great things and has nothing to hang his head about. It may just be time that nfl teams decide to quit paying him.
