DGAF

They needed ESPN to lobby for a rematch.

We, sir, did not.

It should not have been expected to beat bama 3 times in a row.

However after this upcoming year we will be 3 out of 4.

LSU has played these assholes 5 times in 4 years with no F ing quarterback. They will be fine with Mett at the helm. It took coach genius 3 games to figure out how to stop JJ. frick these guys.

Contrarian take: When pundits start talking like this, the crash is coming.

Why is it depressing? I read the whole damn thing. My takeaway was - "Saban's doing well now. And then, when you think he's still the best, suddenly someone else will be doing well."

How old is Saban, 35? Yep, he's going to be on top for another 20 years . . .

Saban didn't look well last year. I suspect his health won't hold up much longer. He puts himself in a pressure cooker. Say what you want about Miles, but his life is much more balanced.

I guess the point is that if you have equal and/ or superior talent to Alabama, execution at the top is what separates the two teams....and you know what that means.

if LSU continues to win 10 games a year, we can lose to bama every single year and LSU will not get rid of Miles.

he looked pretty happy after the NC game, hes not going anywhere anytime soon, IMO.

Saban isn't ten feet tall, my man. He's fricked up plenty of times over the years and will continue to do so.

It's damned hard to hold everything together over the course of a single season, let alone multiple ones. Somebody gets hurt, somebody gets suspended, the ball bounces a funny way. Suddenly it's 8-4 instead of 11-1, and columnists are wondering if Saban has lost his mojo.

Things are never as good or as bad as they seem.

Come on - this isn't brainiac science. The article smokes him for saying "We should have beaten Utah." And the former Utah coach basically says - we executed better than them. And so has LSU at times (including this year at Bama). But they executed a hell of a lot better in January.

Again - this isn't depressing. If you execute better, you will beat them. No matter how good a coach Saban is, you can't stick a thumb drive in the back of your players' heads and program them. When Bama executes well, they're tough. But they're not perfect. Come on.

Right. They didn't execute well on Nov. 5.

We didn't execute well on Jan. 9.

1-1

Saban isn't bulletproof, despite what the media says.

This can't be stressed enough for the whiners here.

Bama recieved an unprecedented gift in 2011 and cashed in. Now they're the greatest thing since sliced bread. Give me a break. If they were so awesome they should have won their most important game of the season.....at home....against arguably LSU's worst QB since 1993.

shite, Saban couldn't beat JJ in 2010....

Saban needed some bogus officiating to finish off LSU in 2009....with our second string QB, RB, and some OL in the game. Not to mention their biggest plays on O came when PP was dehydrated on the sidelines.

And needed a freshman QB to throw FOUR INTs (including a pick 6) to beat arguably LSU's worst team/defense in a decade in 2008....in OT.

I could go on and on. The media got what it wanted on Jan. 9th, now they are gloating. That's all this piece is.

After Miles beats him again this year that will make it 3 of the last 4.....but he's unstoppable.
