Relocating to Denver from Baton Rouge for a new job and Im not neccessarily looking for LSU bars as much as I am looking for fellow tiger fans to watch games with. Blake Street Tavern will probably be my bar of choice to watch them. Any Denver tigers on the rant?

this is good, because there aren't going go be any!

I moved away from Denver about a decade ago, but used to enjoy the view-ins held by the local alumni chapter. check in with them, as they used to be an enjoyable bunch to hang with on gameday.

Stoney's on 11th and Lincoln is the LSU bar in Denver. They have a pretty big group of fans there for every game. Blake street tavern is a solid bar too with lots of others in the area. Welcome to Denver.

Thornton tiger here. I've heard about Stoney's but haven't made it there for a game yet. How's the atmosphere there on gameday?

I've only been for a few games. I didn't count but I'd say there was about 100 for the Bama game last year. Good atmosphere given the outcome. Every spring the LSU alumni group does a big crawfish boil there, it's usually packed and pretty good.

Welcome! You just missed the SEC picnic a couple of weeks ago. As the earlier poster suggested, contact the Denver alumni chapter. They can hook you up. I always watch the games at home on my 60" HD with surround sound, where the Heinekens are $1/each and the ribeyes are $10 each, so I don't actually know where the LSU bar is!

Stoney's is the official alumni run setup. I will be heading down there for the first time this season for state. Relatively cheap beer and Tiger Fans so it's a good time. Crowd size depends on the game.

I been to that berl in 2013. My buddy helped transport the crawfish from the FedEx facility to the bar. That was cool to see how far they can get them still alive in giant foam ice chests.

I found some of the spouses of the alumni were not Southerners nor were they in interested in LSU.

But, you're in Denver with live crawfish, purple and gold on alot of people, and we got the LSU Baseball game on the bar TVs.
So that was pretty damncool.

I'm in Broomfield

Everything the others said is true. I've not been here long and not been to Stoney's simply because of logistics but there are a good number of Tigers/Tiger fans in the area.

OP, what part of Denver will you be living?

I'm in sloans lake about a mile from mile high stadium. I have a movie room in the basement usually just watch there! But Stoney's is solid.

Boulder Tiger here. I have yet to participate in Denver Alumni events, but I'm thinking of joining. I'll probably head to Stoney's for the Bama game -- would be nice to have like-minded, anxiety-driven, P&G-bleeding brethren to celebrate (or commiserate) with.

Welcome to Colorado!

Westminster tiger here. Just moved to the area about 5 months ago but Stoney's is the LSU, like everyone has said.

However, there's a place call Bayou Bob's which I'm sure is partial to LSU folks. The owner's from Morgan City.

Come to think of it, I've found there is a surprisingly large LSU contingent in the Denver area.

Yep...that is the place where we used to watch ten years or so ago. I remember thinking that the food was pretty damn good, too.

Bayou Bob's is awesome for Saints games but I've always gone to Stoney's for LSU games
