If you're the first rb taken can anyone really say you're the most underrated rb in the draft?

Love these film break downs from last season. What an amazing player, what an amazing team, and what an amazing season.

Last night was the first night in his college career he was given appropriate credit via some sort of accolade.

He was seen as a back up to Akers (that panned out), nobody thought he would start.

When he got carries people said he was too slow and would be passed up on the depth chart by a freshman.

When he carried LSU to a win against Alabama, ran for 1400+ yards, scored 17 TDs, he was still slotted behind Dobbins, JT, Akers, and Moss to end the season.

Not unfairly, mind you. Most everyone was a Clyde naysayer at one point or another during his time at LSU. But last night was the first time here someone other than this teammates gave him worthy praise.

He made all that stuff look effortless which is amazing when it is broken down.

Nah. People were going nuts wondering if he would make it back during the playoffs as I remember.

This was from way before the draft, that’s what makes it even better. His analysis was spot on and the Chiefs agreed with it

Most evaluations of CEH were very short sided.

Is he small?

Is a 210 pound cannon-ball small?

That is cool, but since he was the first RB selected in the draft, how could he be underrated?

Great post! Of course I love Joe, who wouldn’t! He is just a fantastic gentleman and deserves all of the accolades he has received, but I have a soft spot in my heart for Clyde. He had his whole career riding on having the game of his life against an opponent that had beaten us numerous times and had a tremendous psychological edge. He simply came out and destroyed them, just like Hester against Florida. What kind of intestinal fortitude it took to do that, on that stage, in a hostile environment is the thing legends are made of. I will never forget that game. I’ll never forget how he waited patiently behind great backs in front of him for his opportunity. Very very proud of him and I sincerely wish him the very best in his future. He damn sure has earned it!

Count me in as not a naysayer.

Clyde has been and always will be a beast.

Dude was probably trucking and shaking others off since third grade.

Those two td's against bama that he talked about are two of my favorite td's ever.

It's crazy how much everyone doubted him. Posters here were so angry that he was the starter. I was still wanting to see the other backs more well into the season. And now CEH is one of my favorite Tigers ever.
