Well have some walkon playing valuable minutes before long. Depth is thin.

I know Orgeron is recruiting some great high school players at defensive tackle but you can't expect those guys at 18-19 years of age to be ready to go up against an experienced offensive line in their first college game. Wisconsin will line up 4 year or 5 year players who are 21 or 22 years of age. We need the guys that are currently on the the roster right now as defensive linemen to beat them. That means Lacouture,Godchaux,Herron, and Gilmore. If all four of those players are there then we'll be fine in 2016.

Nobody expected Godchaux to have the year he had coming back from a knee injury. You can't predict things like that.

But, we don't need the freshman to start right away next season. Godchaux, Gilmore, Herron, and potentially LaCouture. If one of those true freshman show out it's all the better for the team. Orgeron himself said this is the best linemen class he's seen in decades. He was scouting these guys all during his year off. Most of them do have the ability to play right away and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see one or two start. At the very least they can provide depth while adjusting to the college game.
