I have all the faith in the world that Dave Aranda will make the necessary adjustments needed to ensure we don't see a repeat of the Moo State meltdown.

With the attrition, injuries, suspensions, and youth, do we have the personnel to implement Aranda's adjustments? I am leaning no but I am curious where you fall on this.

ETA: I am not saying the personnel isn't capable, just saying they are young and might need another year to learn to play together.

Because without a lights out defense, it will be a long year.

Aranda can adjust his arse to death, but if our offense doesn't find a way to move the ball and string together some first downs it will not matter.

the main adjustment needed is to get Lawrence and alexander healthy. we will continue to play a lot of youth on that side of the ball and they will continue to get better with experience. with alexander and Lawrence back I don't think we play another team that can push us back 5 yards every play (except you know who).

fixing the penalty problem is another adjustment needed. this crew Saturday basically said touch the qb's helmet with yours and you're a goner.

I'm not sure how they adjust the defensive line. They are hurting and they're thin.

Also the best defense is a good offense. Right now we can't keep the defense off the field.
Looks like it's going to be a long year on both lines.

I think Ed Orgeron is the worst coach in the history of the sec.

That out of the way, from a real football standpoint, we'll be a lot better once we have Alexander and Lawrence healthy. BYU sucks, but it's not a coincidence we played our best the one game he played. Might be our best player. Also not a coincidence we looked shaky but serviceable with Alexander...and without him we just folded. Having them two healthy on the d-line and key in shape will do wonders. Hopefully that can happen in two weeks.

The other main thing is finding guys in the secondary who can tackle. Or just finding your guys and sticking with them. Vincent, Williams, Delpit, and then pick two others and let them learn the positions. And make sure they can tackle

If you're getting blown up at the line of scrimmage what can you do?
