It appears Davis is becoming the spring camp star.....but both will/should be big targets in fall.

That Redemptorist BEAST Russell Gage will have a better season than both

I'm feeling both this season, but I think Dee may be a bit more refined.
*just my opinion*
I think Coach Canada is going to use LSU's I-formation reputation to his advantage. I think there will be a lot of plays starting out like LSU's old formations and get motioned out of. Then, these monster receivers used to create mismatches (like Bama's untested LB's and underwhelming DB's). I feel like there will be a lot of east and west ball movement and making the defenses run back and forth. Then, when they lose a step from fatigue, a power spread With guice at the helm will slice through tired LB's and DLinemen.
I think other SEC teams are going to watching a LOT of LSU film of the early games of the multiple offense and will most likely compensate by running mostly man to man, cover 1 D, which is PRIME TIME for monster slotbacks praying on shorter OLB's and ILB's, wheel routes through open space, and crazy fast jet sweeps.

Did Davis get a redshirt last year? I seem to remember him in on a play or two but I could be mistaken

Where is everyone getting the info about drake doing well in practices? Through subscription services or is there a place I can read about it for free?

I've only seen one article where it said that he was a spring practice standout.. But most of the reports are from people who attended spring practice and observed
