Decibel reader display in Tiger Stadium? Searched but didn't find anything.

Does TS have a real-time display for decibel readings? If it doesn't what are y'all thoughts on having one?

Could it be a benefit to crowd noise? ie say what it is and where it ranks throughout history.

Or is it just a cheesy idea?

kind of cheesy but wouldn't hurt anything

eta: While it would be pretty cool for big games, it would be pretty embarrassing for small or shitty games.

That's pretty much how I felt about it.

In a way it might benefit that to by people seeing how weak it was.

Or just turn it on for the big games

I'd rather have a seismograph in TS.

I actually suggested this to Herb Vincent and he said that they would discuss it.

For the florida game, someone had a decibel meter in the upper decks and it peaked at 105.

I had one in the upper deck for Florida and for Auburn. Florida was 106 and Auburn peaked at 109. The noise was constantly around 95-100. Solid, but I've heard louder. For what it's worth, the Superdome against the Colts peaked at 109 and was constantly around 98-102. Just thought fans might like to hear some comparisons.
