Threads like these are fricking stupid. I left after I was there about 15 minutes. So fricking what?!? I paid the money for those seats. Did you? No, you didn't. I don't tell you what to do with your money. Stay the frick out of what I do with mine.

Last couple of times I've been, from out of town...
1)I've been told to sit down and my whistling was too loud...
2) My foul language (this i understand, there were kids around, so i humbly complied).
3) Someone saw me pouring a mixed drink and was threatening to report me
In summation, i agree with some on here about the crowd intensity. The ticket pricing has priced out the crowd that is responsible for creating the Tiger Stadium "aura". Your wealthier people now have those tickets because it's trendy and don't take it as serious or hand the tickets out as "business gifts".
If i lived in state, i'd be happy to show up at the stadium and scoop up the unwanted tickets of others. Just can't believe how uptight the crowd has become in the stadium.
And what the hell is up with the idiot in this thread trying to bring politics into this? If you want to do that, you are definitely headed in the wrong direction.

I have a strong feeling that these "part time" fans are the first ones that bitch whenever there is a bleacherreport article about best "fanbases" or "atmospheres" and LSU isn't ranked #1.

Back in the day, the defense would never HAVE TO signal furiously to the crowd to get them to cheer. We roared from start to finish. And yes, I am glad and proud that our team is so much better than it was in the past, but sadddened that our fanbase has gotten spoiled and lazy. BTW I stayed to the end of the monsoon that was the Miami game.

I don't think LSU has shitty fans at all, I think LSU has some of the best fans in CFB

that's strange. Their director, Corey Spurlin, got his masters and PhD from LSU. He's a good guy. I doubt it was intentional FWIW.

Thx peeps for leaving early ! I always stay till the end of the game....personally makes a better drive home not having to deal with traffic ! I have to say, these waves of departing early have been going on for the past couple of years !
