Dear Coach Les Miles: Please have them ready to play Saturday night

I know everyone is tired of hearing about WKU being the perfect embodiment of a "trap game", but it can happen. Miami (Ohio) happened in 1986 because their kids wanted it more, and Coach A didn't have our guys prepared mentally. WKU will be sky high since this could be the signature win of all signature wins. There's just too much at stake this time with a perfect season, Bama coming up, making the playoffs, and recruiting.
It's all about emotion and execution from our defense. Please come out and smash these guys in the mouth and harass their QB mercilessly from the get go. Sack him six times and knock his arse out of the game.
We need to go into Bama preparation with a clear mind, and not waste energy worrying about a lackluster performance and what we need to fix. This is all on you Coach Les Miles. Make it happen.

This is every seasoned LSU fans prayer. Unfortunately we all know to expect a disappointment . Wasn't WKU ranked in top 25 before last week?

Good thing you started this thread because from what I understand, les was actually planning on not having the team ready to play until he stumbled upon this thread and said "by golly I think this guy is onto something here"

I want to laugh, but I'm certain someone in LSU athletics saw the many threads here last week asking to bring back "BIFL", and low and behold, it was back. Florida didn't start a single possession following a kickoff past the 25 yard line.

So when LSU plays a lesser opponent you expect them to play well and intense like last Saturday? Maybe disappointment may have been a bad choice of words on my part but I always expect them to play down to competition. As for the season we are having a dn good one!

Relax fellows. Our team will be practicing hard this week. We will be working. Ummm uhhhh, we are looking at game film as I speak and WKU is a very talented team with a uhhhh great coaching staff. Our team will be fired up to play at Tiger Stadium and compete. I really ummm like the fight in our team.

WKU's 3 games played against any type of talent whatsoever was:
1.) 14-12 versus a mediocre Vandy team AT BEST-W for WKU
2.) 41-38 versus LA Tech, pretty good team actually for mid-major-W for WKU
3.) 35-38 versus Indiana, a team that did give OSU a run for their money-L for WKU
I think we'll be fine.

Ahh...yes, the rant classic: a "letter" to Les Miles. Rarely seen since the 2013 season this sighting is very similar to previous versions.
