Are we forgetting how Ciron Black and Charles Scott announced they were staying?
Not saying he officially stays, only it's a possibility; the fact that there may be a presser does not say that you are automatically a goner

I'd say it's the opposite. If he were going, it would end with him signing a contract...not a press conference (See Jared Mitchell).
He's going to stay IMO.

Plenty of college football and basketball players have done this. It's another way to get your name out there for some publicity. I'm not sure how many times it has been done in college baseball though.

I'm actually looking at Blake dean right now. I'm picking up my boy from LSU baseball camp. If he were leaving, he wouldn't be here right now.

Just got off the phone with coach Manieri and Dean will decide this evening. He set a deadline for the Twins b/c he want to determine if he needs to have surgury. He was supposed to say something this afternoon, but it's dragged on a bit.
