We are losing an insane amount of talent: Fournette, Godchaux, Beckwith, White, Pocic, Adams, Dupre?, Dural, etc.

And we will have a new coach implementing a new system with players he didn't recruit.

Lets use this baptism by fire of a schedule and make a run in 2018.

Next year will not be a rebuilding year. We'll probably be just as good or better.

And we get to play the game and the city of Baton Rouge desperately needs the revenue this year, which just got even bigger.

I just dont get the giving up on next year logic. Unless you think Miles was a better coach than whoever we get

Our fanbase is fricking retarded.

We lose our starter and every skill position besides QB, who is not that great anyway, we have a new coach, lose our top 4 defensive players, and we will be better?

What the frick are you smoking and give me some.

after Sankey fricked up the original game week, there was never going to be a scenario where everyone came out smelling like roses.

People will blame alleva, but this was the best case scenario to soften the blow for both sides. I'm just disappointed at how boring the home schedule will be next season.

Our quarterbacks will be seniors. No position rebuilds, except the QB position because of the unique skill set required. LSU reloads at all the other spots.

Yours is probably not a popular opinion, but I agree with you.

There was already a home game this weekend!! You are not gaining anything from an economic standpoint

The talent will be there, but pulling a Larry Coker your first year as a coach is almost impossible. Not the end of the world to lose home game advantage for that one year.

LOL. Rebuilding year. Alabama and Nick Saban are laughing at this.

We return 2 senior qbs with starting experience and most of the oline

We always have skill players

No reason to say a rebuilding year

This year is nearly a wash now

We just have a very vocal base that likes to whine. Granted, game should have been played last weekend and SEC dropped the ball by "postponing" game without a backup plan. But the whining that has followed is almost embarrassing. First-- UF needs to play in BR on Saturday. Then, Alleva better not give up a home game. Then, UF should have to come to BR if game is rescheduled. Finally, it was how we are getting screwed bc when we go 6-1 and beat BAMA, we won't make the SECCG. And Alleva does all that (and I'm no fan of his). Now the whining is (1) we gave up a home game next year. And spare the 2018 game bc it was already in FL; (2) we should have gone to FL this year bc next year is brutal; (3) we ain't gonna run the table anyway.

Just proves some people are never happy unless they are whining.
