I don't understand why so many fans care about being called "DBU". I don't care what Florida wants to call themselves just to make them feel good. We are 4-1 vs Florida in our last 5 meetings, that's all I really care about.

Well Florida fans that argue that they are DBU compared to LSU are dumb because we have more NFL studs and draft picks at the posistion. And we have better overall college defensive statistics in general in the recent past.
I try not to be a biased LSU fan when comparing my team to other teams, but the one thing that is true is the fact that our defensive backs have been consistently at the top of college football since the Laron Landry days.
And if anybody disagrees with that, they need to do some research.

Agree. With the two recent studies that show LSU #1 as Running Back U and #2 as WRU as relates to the NFL, added to the continued success of our DBs and our reputation for developing DBs, then NFLSU seems appropriate. Hard to argue with cold, hard numbers.

Yea I'm going with this. We consistently have the players all around the field good enough to get drafted. Except one position otherwise we would be on par with Bama and rings.

Don't forget DLU... Something like 12 or 13 straight years LSU has had a d-lineman drafted.

I think they should make a statue of PP7 or TM7 and put DBU university under it.

guys I know we are DBU and we can tell our recruits that, just don't think we need to constantly fight Florida fans about it when we have beat them 4 of the last 5 times we have played them, you can't argue with that.
