LSU has always been DBU. Despite the horrible tackling in the old miss game, I thought there was at least three passes that should’ve been easily picked off if our DB’s turn around and find the ball and make a play for it instead of turning their back, closing their eyes, and holding their hands up in the receivers face. Man up turn around and go get the ball.

So you are saying you didn’t watch the game.

I said multiple times, “this ball is going to get picked off” bc it was in the air for so long, but our guys never turned to find it.

I’m talking to the Rant not coaches. Why would I try to talk to coaches. Dumb arse

Just respond to the thought, did you notice the DBs not turning around for the pick off attempt? On multiple plays? Is this taught now? If so, it’s new technique and I am questioning if it’s working out for us…. Twink

Typically DBs don’t turn around because they are beat and trying to catch up/keep up.

That’s pretty much our issue too because our DBs are lost and realize they need to catch up because they were covering the wrong person/zone.

Other thing is STOP PLAYING 10 YARDS OFF THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE CORNERBACKS. They immediately throw 7 yard slants and get 15 yards a pop. I get so frustrated seeing our CB's 10 yards in front of the WR at the snap.

Do you know how hard it is for a db to concentrate on a players hips , react and run with player and THEN turn and find the ball mid air? The guys that can do that on a consistent basis get drafted high and make it to the hall of fame.

For real though, I think you and Pete Jenkins really about to perform miracles with that defense.
