I've never thought of Mo as an amazing accelerator off the blocks. He has great top speed and amazing athleticism, but he is not going to run a 4.3 or something. His ball skills, body control, size, and athleticism are what make him special.

Ron is going to be a solid pro for years.

I know I would run faster on the 2nd time. My nerves would be calmer and I'd have a feel for the environment around me.
So I would go from a 5.9 to a 5.6

Dude from ULL ran a 4.37. That's Louisiana for you.

I wish Brooks would go to Dallas damn that would be nice

We are going to miss both Mo and Ron Brooks. Neither Mathieu nor Simon are as good in coverage, in my opinion. I would rather not see Mathieu out on the corner at all.
Good for Brooks! I hope he has a great career. He has been one of my favorite Tigers for the last few years.

Me either. He has great closing speed though

I expected Brooks to put up more than 12 bench reps. He's supposed to be one of the strongest guys on the team pound-for-pound.

Claiborne was no where this good during his sophomore season. He took a huge step up in his coverage skills. I expect something similar with Simon from Soph to Jr year. Hopefully Coach Raymond could coach them up just like Coop did.

why not? He's better in the middle of the field so he can disrupt more plays and help clean up, but he's solid in coverage. If a QB makes a perfect throw and the WR makes a good catch, Mathieu isn't the only DB that will have a hard time stopping that play. The myth that mathieu is below avg in coverage, blows my F ing mind.
