Going to be an epic 1-2 punch for the next few years. I know Clyde is the veteran and he has been good, but man these freshman have shown flashes. Emery is shifty and has an unreal burst and Davis-Price will run your arse over. Dude just goes north and south.

Not sure how much we will see the freshmen against Florida and in other big games - seems like they are still learning to pick up rushers and pass pro but I'm glad they've been getting a lot of snaps in these other games.

Side note: Hard to believe Clyde is only a junior. Feels like he's been here for 5 years

I was impressed with CEH this last game. He showed some wiggle and patience finding the hole. If he continues that then I wouldn’t take him out. He isn’t a home run threat like the freshmen but he does what you ask of him and is a great asset in pass protection.

Edit: But yes, what I’ve seen from the 2 freshmen has been very promising.

I will be surprised if we are able to keep both backs on the team with the way kids transfer nowadays.

Both of them will get enough touches to stay. Curry is the one who will transfer imo

ETA: re: Balls above - Clyde continues to surprise/impress me. You're exactly right about his patience and vision. The run on the first drive where he runs into traffic and bounces it outside and picks up the first down was awesome.

The sharp cuts and instantaneous direction changes that Emery makes are as good as I've ever seen.

Emery was flashing. He needs to learn to hold the ball in his left hand though. Running left, he often keeps the ball in his right hand which makes that ball a target...and prevents him from using his hand to fend off tacklers.

I will watch the 10:00 am replay this morning again to verify, but I thought Curry played well.

I would hate to see him transfer. Nice to have a 4th back of this caliber.

CEH also had his best game as a Tiger. He was routinely met in the backfield and would almost always turn it into a positive play. Ran his arse off.

He fumbled on the 1 yard line. Not cool. Hope Emery isn't punished with less playing time for his fumble if CEH isn't punished for his.

I can forgive that.

He turned probably 10 negative/no-gain plays into positive gains, sometimes even big time gains. Also had a very good kick return. He's the most underrated back we've had in a long time.

The announcers mentioned something about him getting hit at or behind LOS more than any other backs...I don't get the hate he has been pretty damn good this year. I still haven't seen any reason he shouldn't be the starter.
