Keep this in mind when looking at his statistical track record at Wisconsin. His division in the Big10 is weak. This is the big stage in the SEC. Good luck, sir.

I believe he ran a 3-4 defense at Wisc. Is he known for blitzing a lot or very little? At least he'll have some decent talent to begin his new position.

Best wishes to him and his family.

It's never a bad thing with the coaching profession to move around a lot, when you are taking another job for more money and a better opportunity.
This is an outstanding hire for LSU and if he does well, he will add to the success of LSU.
Kudos to LM for being able to lure him here this time around to start off 2016 with a great hire for his staff.
It never ceases to amaze me with the amount of negativity some post on this board about everything and anything.

I know this is an LSU board but he was ron roberts DC at delta state in 07. Ron roberts is the head coach at SELU in Hammond. Delta state has great teams then.

Next stop is college HC or pro position/DC. Until then, he's in BR (assuming he's as good as advertised).

Once he got to a big school, he stayed 3 years. So, he may be here 3+? That will work!

That's what we want. I'm tired of hiring guys who have been fired from other positions and are near the end of their career.

How do any of those DC jobs compare to LSU? They don't. Why do we even have to try and find a negative? Let the man do his job. I give CLM a lot of shite, IMO, he hit a home run . I am happy for CLM and all all LSU fans.
