If Jayden balls out the next four games, can he catch Caleb Williams' Heisman stats?

They were 11-1 in regular season. 3 losses will be hard to overcome. I think Daniels has been the best player this year tho.

I think the Heisman chances went down last week. I just hope he gets an invite. If he does and his stats are basically the same as Caleb Williams, they should make a relatively big deal about.

Ironically the no targeting hit may HELP his chances.

Even if you have on purple and gold glasses you can understand there’s absolutely no way Daniels throws for 500 yards and 4 TDs each of the last 4 games.

Without looking I don’t think he’s thrown for more than 500 yards in a single game in his 5 years as a starting QB in college.

He will play on Saturday. Based on exactly the same amount of inside info as you have.

I’ll take 1st ever to pass for 4,000 yard and run for 1,000 yards. He averages 400 yards passing and 100 yards running it will happen.
He will probably play need to play every snap
For that to happen and the games will need to be close. We’ll see…..

You’re comparing stats from 14 games vs only 9 games & JD will only get to play in 12 before they vote on Heisman…

How about we look at how Jaden compares to 2022 Caleb Williams through 9 games?

C Williams 2022 (8-1)

Daniels 2023 (6-3)

When you add in rushing...he's well ahead of where Williams was at the same point.

But USC was still in the thick of the playoffs picture until very late in the season...THATS the difference

Your math seems off to me. JD needs 437 yards avg. for the 4 games, not 500. Big difference. That is very doable if he is able to play in all 4 games.

He only has 3 more games to get the ~2000 yards. The Heisman is before bowl games.
