As much as I have questioned him as a coach and have disagreed with him immensely. I would hope that if this is the end, i hope that we can send him off as the great representative of LSU that he is.. He has been nothing but class, but the last presser got to me, got me thinking what if there is some health issue?.. Remember that rush to the hospital earlier this year because of "too much coffee".. Just a thought... How great would it be to have him retire, get a great win vs A&M and be carried off the field...It would be good to send him off the right way and show the man much love for what he has done and move forward into hopefully a successful new era of LSU football...
And hire a new (great) coach in the process.
Just my two cents.

Reader Comment: Coach Miles' loyalty and character is demonstrated by this group of players. We could not have a better person. As for coaching, perhaps, but NO GUARANTEE!! Many would trade with us in a heartbeat regardless of those who claim otherwise. Totally see the slide we have been on and understand that it may be time for both school and coach to thank each other and part ways. The media leak and quote from Robert Anderson PRIOR TO OUR SEASON END was CLASSLESS and wrong. However this goes, CLM has been a blessing to LSU, Baton Rouge and Louisiana. My prayer is that we demonstrate the same class and character that he ALWAYS does. May God bless him always.

A man of great character and integrity. I hope we continue to act the part.

Would love nothing more to send miles off in Grand fashion. He's been a great representative of LSU but his best days here are behind him. A thorough arse whipping of aTm would be the best possible way to send miles home.

I agree. I just hope other "fans" see this as well, I hope that its announced before this game just so "this" can happen...I know he deserves that

Agree.. He will always be part of LSU and hope he still is after his retirement.
