Do you want him?

Do you think he would make the move?

My Opinion: His power spread offense would be a perfect fit with our talent, think Florida 2006-2008. He's only 43 years old. I think he would be good for recruiting and could potentially keep a lot of the recruits for 2016. I think he would make the move because he has kind of hit the ceiling at Miss St and he won't do much better than this year and last. Also, Dak is leaving and they probably won't be any good next year.

The only coaching change I would happily take, I think would be Jimbo.
That said, I wouldn't be upset if we went for someone like Mullen though I do think we could do better. A coworker bought up Patterson earlier, what does the board think of him?

Not my first choice

He has a better resume than our current coach had when he was hired

Mullen would be my first choice tbh.....almost every week in the SEC he trots out a less talented team(sometimes significantly) and still competes. It's a head scratcher that he's still at State

Freeze.

Freeze beats Saban- and that's what this is really all about.

Wait till Prescott is gone. We will be back to our regular place at the bottom of the SEC west. Thank god we have Kentucky as our permanent east foe.
If Mullen is thinking about bolting Starkvegas, then at the end of this season is the best time than ever.

I wouldnt be hugely disappointed in the hire, because what he has done there is solid. It would be interesting to see what he could do at LSU but still think Gundy's offense would do extremely well with the types of athletes that Louisiana produces. Look at his teams when he has just one NFL caliber athlete. He spreads the ball around and exploits the match ups extremely well. imagine him with multiple weapons to choose from. He is a former QB and always has talented QB's The biggest thing is for him to have an outstanding DC, and one could be coming on the market soon in Jeremy Pruitt at Georgia. Those two together would be homerun hires imo.
