Strong is getting weaker. If UT loses to OU, which seems likely, the UT political process may actually find the balls to fire Strong to get Herman.
Independent of whether we are happy with Coach O or not, I'd hate to see the burnt orange get Herman.
He'd turn UT into what they have delusionally thought they have been the last few decades.

Flip Texas! It's hard to pull for UT or ATM no matter the situation. Living here since '03, they are two schools with no pride and spirit.

Tom Herman to LSU will end at 1430 Saturday..especially if the OU team That showed up in Ft Worth shows in Dallas

Here's something I don't understand....
Why go for Herman if Coach O continues to do well?
By all accounts, he has learned from his mistakes at Ole Miss. He is a players coach, unites the fanbase (we Louisianas are tribalistic), he is a great recruiter, and this would be his dream job (wouldn't cost us mega millions). He puts great coaches around him and delegates, we continue to get the talent but we don't continue to waste the talent as we have these past couple years, and we will be in contention every year for the natty.
