I've heard people say he was also brought in to implement some parts of a spread attack...I. Guessing to be .more unpredictable and diverse.

I am curious as to what some of you foresee as him being able to accomplish from now until the fall. I have long said, the reason we have what we have on offense is because its literally all miles knows. You can only teach and do what you know. Obviously miles is willing to change a few things. He has already said he and his staff will be visiting other schools for new ideas. We'll always be a power run offense first, which I prefer as I'm sure most others on here. Question is....

What kind of offense does Craig know??? What do you guys see being implemented??? Harris has better then average wheels for sure...would some of yiu like to see Harris run more??? I know I would...but is risky. Maybe I don't understand what " spread " means in this sense. I'm not thinking triple option (although, would be deadly with our talent), maybe some new varieties of screens??? Routes designed to put our best receivers against their weakest db's and Lbers???

What you think???

We've been slowly implementing spread concepts to our offense. We ran quite a few 3 WR 1TE looks in a few games using the TE either on the line or as an H-back. the Arkansas game specifically featured a lot of spread looks.

Fournette had notably a few long runs in the first half of the season out these sets. Let him make a cut and break a big one.

Now I hope craig can give insight to some spread option kind of stuff or power option like auburn did. Definitely can teach Cameron and Miles how to run a proper screen pass (yes I'm aware harris is just not good at these throws also)

How many in depth football conversations have you had with Miles?
How do you know what he knows?
How much do YOU know?
Would you understand an in depth conversation with Les Miles or any other big time foot ball coach?

I'll hang up and listen.

From my observations and analysis of our offense and it's woes, I would say Miles is in way over his head. He's not using the personnel properly and his time management skills are lacking. I have never coached a game but I feel sure I could give Miles some immediate pointers which would be very beneficial and get this offense clicking on a few cylinders.

That response was for Gray Tiger, not for you. You are ruining my fun.

Things to do in 2016 on offense

- Implement a 3 wide base (LSU and Vanderbilt are the only ones who don't utilize this in the SEC to my knowledge)
- Spread the defense out more (puckered a-hole offense should have died a long time ago)
- Get better OL play vs the big boys
- Improve the short passing game
- Apply more misdirection in the run game

So you actually believe that Les and or assistants will watch other teams practice in order to learn how to practice a concept called the forward pass. And you believe that Craig knows more than any other coach on our staff? Les lies and Les runs the offense. Different coordinators, same ancient playbook. This is what you will see until Bo, I mean Les, leaves the Red Stick. Coach Cam knows Bo. That is why he was hired.

1) watch 2007 offensive game film
2) run that shite, sans dumb penalties
3) hold up championship trophies
4) pop bottles

Well LSU went spread against Arky and Ole Miss.

LSUs first 21 plays against Arky had Harris lined up in the shotgun, they didn't go I formation until they were down in the redzone and LF scored.

How about you so called fans watch the games.

The only two things they aren't doing with the LSU offense, I swear people don't actually watch the games on this board sometimes.
