I know I'll probably get destroyed for this, but I think Dabo could be a great hire IF...(BIG IF) we could get him to consider LSU. Thoughts?

All of these repeated threads are getting ridiculous.

Because LSU is a much better job. You could argue that Jimbo wont leave FSU for LSU because FSU has a prestige thats close to LSU's but Clemson is far from that. Just because he happens to be #1 this year doesn't mean hes better off staying. Clemson is clearly not on the same level as LSU / FSU / Bama / Texas etc.

i live near clemson and am pretty familiar with the history of the program. they are an sec program trapped in an acc body. theyve been the sleeping giant for a couple of decades. just like spurrier described lsu in the late 80's. very passionate fanbase. much like lsu, its a football school with a baseball problem. a 35 yr old coach once took them to an undefeated season and a national title over nebraska in the ornage bowl. not on the level of lsu and fsu? they beat us in a bowl and they currently own the acc and the #1 ranking.

I will resign as an LSU fan the first day I see a clip of Dabo 'dancing' in the LSU locker room.

So being good for 3-4 years makes them elite? Clemson has 1 NC and has 1 ACC championship since 1980 and you really want to argue that they are on the level with FSU or LSU? Oh yea I forgot they beat us in the chicken bowl once too so there's that I guess - maybe you are right they sound like a real powerhouse program lol......

Same here, I live 15 miles from campus. Very passionate fan base. My daughter is a Clemson student and loves it.
